About

The-Food-Obsessive
Welcome to my blog! I have wanted to get this started for a few years now, but life with three young children has held me up a bit. After years of treating my Facebook posts as a food blog I thought it might be best to actually commit.

I am a self-proclaimed food obsessive. I have always loved food but I never expected it to become such an all consuming part of my life. It started innocently enough with baking from an early age. I baked all the time! My parents were also very good cooks and I would help out when I could. Eventually I moved to London and slowly I built up to cooking more interesting and diverse food. I would spend hours at the office thinking about what I had left in the fridge and what I could turn it into with a few more ingredients picked up on the way home. Baking also became my stress relief, where I could escape the worries of my job and just think about what I was doing. At all times, I was also very fortunate to have amazing people around me who influenced and introduced me to new foods.
Over the years my obsession has grown to include all things food: Dining out, cookery, fine food halls / specialist food suppliers, kitchen supplies, cookbooks and even just talking about food. All of them make me happy. I hope in sharing them with you that they too will make you happy.

Enjoy!

Tania
